We are working with the British Plastics Federation and GOV.UK to offer our support in providing vital materials to healthcare during the fight against COVID – 19.
At Capital Valley Plastics we are pleased to have been able to respond with the urgent supply of polythene sheeting to aid in the construction of a temporary COVID hospital in Devon. The team reacted immediately, and the first 100 rolls were despatched the very next morning, followed by a further 400 rolls over the next couple of days. We have also supplied 6000 polythene rolls to several COVID-19 projects in and around London.
Our Managing Director Roger Phillips delivered a donation of polythene handy packs to Neville Hall hospital which will be used to protect vital medical equipment, create screened areas and to wrap up all contaminated PPE prior to its disposal.
Dr Brooks from Neville Hall hospital said:
“The staff are using it to make trolley covers and have screened an area between two theatres, they are over the moon. I can’t thank you enough and to see it being used for the safety of patients is excellent”.
We continue to operate safely and within the government guidance and are keen to do everything we can to help any COVID-19 projects in any way possible.
